User Research Book Recommendations
Over the weekend, I had a session with the NextLeap cohort on User Research, covering basics of human nature, compete audits, frameworks and research methods. In the mere 4 hours, I could only touch on the tip of the iceberg. The students were eager for more, and I promised to send them a few resources to keep them busy for the next 12 months. Instead of posting in a private Discord, I decided to share it here for everyone.
Here are some timeless books on user research that I read as a researcher. They helped me immensely to connect the dots and recognize that research is more than just instruments and methods. These books are a pathway to gaining knowledge in the subject. The true way to experience the discipline is by living as a researcher 24/7.
