Wordle Love 💚

I have played Wordle almost every day since it launched. At first it was a rage with everyone posting their little grids. Then it turned into a competition. Five words, six, ten, and it quickly became intense. I have stayed with the original five-letter Wordle because its simplicity is what makes it beautiful. It challenges me just enough, teaches me new words, and rewards me with that little green tick that keeps my streak alive.

Some days are lucky guesses. Some days are hard. And some days I stumble upon words I never knew existed. Letty means joy or happiness. Nadir means the lowest point in life. Beyond spelling bees or crosswords or Connections, Wordle remains my go-to game. It is fun, light, and never pushes me past my threshold. That is why it has lasted.

Along the way I have picked up a few tricks. Out of twenty-six letters, five are the Pareto set. They are the vowels. I start with GRAPE and LOUIS to fish them out. If I get none, that is still progress because a word without vowels is rare. Then I use two strategies. Building up is sticking to the letters and positions I know. Breaking down is throwing in wild guesses just to test what remains. Both matter.

The quiet lesson Wordle teaches is that some days you win and some days you do not. But showing up daily brings its own joy. It is a tiny practice in consistency, humility, and learning. Who knew a simple word game could do that.

Cheers to Wordle 💚
