[Sensibowl] Day 13

Changing habits is hard.

Not because you don’t want to — but because friction shows up everywhere. Your calendar doesn’t align. Your family’s routine is different. Your body rebels. Your mind negotiates.

On most days, your gold star will not be perfect.

And that’s okay.

Even one gold star in ten days is a win. Score all ten? You’re a rockstar. But don’t discount the days you tried. Those days deserve a green heart 💚

A green heart means you showed up. You planned. You adjusted. You made space for new behavior in a life already full.

There is freedom within boundaries.
Because when you commit to eating and sleeping at the same time, you begin to work your day backwards. Life doesn’t feel random anymore. It becomes intentional.

Here’s how to reduce the friction:

  • Plan the day ahead. Pack your meals. Carry nuts or fruit. Keep time-sensitive snacks handy.

  • Protect your meal windows. Step away for 15 minutes, even mid-meeting. The world won’t collapse because you ate on time.

  • Say no with grace. “It’s my lunch hour” is a boundary, not a rebellion.

  • Prep for sleep. Talk to your family. Delegate. Dim the day gently.

  • If you toss and turn, stay in bed. No scrolling. Just quiet presence. Use an eye mask. Ear plugs. Data from Gabit or your sleep tracker will tell you when your system starts to shut down for the day.

Gold stars 🌟 are for execution.
Green hearts 💚 are for effort.
Both count. Equally.

And if you must choose between the two — choose the green heart.
Because intent precedes action.
Try again. And again. And again.

That’s how systems are rewired. That’s how stability begins. That is how habits are formed or re-formed.

Cheers to trying 🥂
