Time Management

Time management is a myth.

You can't control time. You can’t slow it down, speed it up, or pause it. It moves at its own unchanging pace — with or without you. Once I truly understood that, I stopped trying to manage time.

Instead, I began managing how I leverage it.
That subtle shift changed everything.

Leverage is power. It's about how I use what I do control: my attention, energy, tools, team, talent, money, reach, and intent. When I place the right lever on the right block of time, the output multiplies. The quality of the lever defines the quality of the outcome.

So now I don’t ask, “How can I manage my time?”
I ask, “How can I better manage my levers?”
That led me to build a practice I call Atomic Accountability.
Because decades are too long, years are slippery, even days are vague.
But 30 minutes? I can work with that.

Each 30-minute block is split into 3 mindful moves:
Decide the Focus (1–2 minutes): What exactly am I choosing to do with the next 25 minutes?
Do the Work (25 minutes): One focused pomodoro. No distractions.
Reflect & Close (3–4 minutes): What went well? What can be improved? Breathe. Rate it. Done.

I give each block a Tripti Index — my own 5 star scale of contentment (tripti). If too many blocks fall under 3 stars, I dig deeper. That’s my cue to tweak the levers.

This tiny system saves me from spiraling. It’s my antidote to overwhelm, overthinking, and anxiety. When life feels messy, I return to this rhythm. Action clears the fog.

In just a few days of this, my mind is lighter. My emotions steadier. My body more energized. So if you're feeling lost, try managing levers — not time.

Start small. Go atomic. Let accountability be your anchor.
And tell me how it goes. I’ll be right here, rooting for your next 30-minute win.
