The best stress test to any project is when life gets really busy 🙈 AiPL is no different.
I was really skeptical about getting to AiPL this weekend as I was travelling and I wasn't sure how to get a 3+ hour block to discuss 🤷♀️ But, we did it...
Education is not about filling a bucket, but about kindling a fire🔥
💯 responsibility to design the curriculum that kindles fire and keeps us curious throughout is on us 🫣 So we want to eat the frog for AiPL from day one. The question is what is the 🐸 in AiPL ?
In a broad sense, Ai (Artificial Intelligence) is ok. P (Product) is ok. Even management is ok. L(Leadership) is mushy.
Leadership as a subject does not have any hard boundaries compared to the other two and hence it gets harder for us to draw a curriculum. Prioritising topics gets even more challenging.
This week we dedicated our discussion towards how to compound our understanding around leadership and what to learn newly. Basically, where to spend our 12 sprints for leadership in the next 24 months?
We looked into all the available curriculums, case studies and resources. Damn! Everything is exciting and that makes it even harder.
Our intuition says that the ROI will be exponentially higher on things that is same as ever. In Jeff Bezos way, we have decided to invest on things that will not change for the next 100 years.
So we decided to invest into timeless wisdom that is already there in the form of scriptures (Gita, Upanishads, Dhammapada, Thirukual and more) that never changed for eons. Our first 4 sprints are about understanding what are the leadership big ideas discussed eons ago that correlates with ontology, behavioural science, cognitive science, neuroscience and more. I must say, to get here, it was a journey by itself.
