Measuring a day with Tripti Index

Even if you had a long life as a human being, it would still be less than 36500 days. So, everyday counts and how you feel about yourself at the end of day counts even more.

I measure the quality of my day by using a Tripti score (satiety index in other words). Usually I work towards a neutral score of 3 everyday and there are very few days, my Tripti score skyrockets to almost 5/5 and yesterday was one such day.

I had the pleasure of meeting my friend Janvi after almost an year. My day literally started at 3:45 am to catch the early morning flight to Mumbai and ended today morning at 3:30 am.

Despite the sleeplessness I am supercharged with energy and that is power of having a high Tripti score.

Yet another contributor to the high score was the storytelling workshop by Matthew Dicks organized by my dear friend Krishna Kiran and team Duggup.

The session was at 8:30 pm IST and I had my fingers crossed to make it given the travel. My flight was at 10:15 pm and I showed up in the airport a little earlier. Found a spot to charge my mobile and took the entire session by standing near the charging station. The best part was the charging station had a small structure which could hold half of my moleskine. Me being a hypergraphic I decided to listen actively and take great notes as I am a fan of Matthew and Storyworthy.

Almost everyone who came to the charging station peeped into my blissful state of listening, taking notes, smiling occasionally and laughing loudly in some parts. This is my first time in airport to not care about my environment and go full on. The session was a banger 🎊 I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my day.

Secretly I was praying for my flight to be delayed so that I can be in the session till the end and my prayers got answered. My flight was delayed till 11 pm and I did go through the session end to end, participated in breakout rooms, told some amazing stories from the heart and had a ball.

Take a peep at what could happen if we are tuned to the present moment 🫶
